LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A man convicted of murder in the deaths of 2 girls near the University of Louisville campus is scheduled to be back in court for sentencing in the case.
A jury recommended life in prison for 27-year-old Kenielle Finch during his trial in December in the 2008 hit & run deaths.
Officials said Finch was speeding and ran through a stoplight while fleeing from police when he hit 5-year-old Claudia Wadlington and 4-year-old Riley Lawrence as they crossed the street on their way to a swimming lesson.
WHAS-TV reports that last month's winter storm delayed the sentencing date until Thursday.
