EVANSVILLE - NEWS 25 was at the scene of an overnight meth bust near Evansville's north side.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Department arrested two people at the West Brook mobile home park just before 3:00 a.m. Tuesday after they got a complaint about the smell of ether in the area.
Deputies at the scene told us they found a meth lab at a home in the 2300 block of Evanston Drive. They said meth making items and drug paraphernalia were among the things they found. Authorities said it was small meth lab, probably only for personal use.
Deputies told us two people were placed under arrest. Their names were not released to us at the scene. We are told the suspects will likely face manufacturing methamphetamine and drug possession charges.
