DAVIESS CO., KY - Two people were taken to the hospital after a wreck Monday morning at the intersection of US 60 & US 231 in Daviess County, KY.

Authorities told us the accident was reported around 9:00 a.m. Monday. They said a large truck collided with a Cintas truck.  Authorities said two people in the large truck had to be extracted from the vehicle, and were both taken to OMHS with what appeared to be leg injuries.  Their names have not been released yet.

The Daviess County Sheriff's Office is investigating whether the wreck was caused by someone running a red light.

Yelvington Fire Chief Brad Freels told us the intersection south of the Natcher Bridge is prone to accidents.
