NEWS 25 - WEHT: Evansville, Henderson, Owensboro-Head-On Collision Takes Evansville Woman's Life

PIKE CO., IN - Pike County Sheriffs say an Evansville woman was killed Friday night after a head-on collision on S.R. 57 and C.R. 50 N. Deputies say 49-year-old Christine Kell was traveling northbound when another vehicle crossed the center line and crashed into her vehicle head-on.
Police say the driver of the second vehicle, 23-year-old Ryan Parsons of Washington, IN, suffered facial and head injuries and was transported to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville were he is currently in stable condition. Authorities say the initial investigation showed that Parsons had illegal narcotics in his system which may be a factor in the accident.
Police say Kell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Charges are pending against Parsons and the investigation is still on going.
