HOPKINS CO., KY - A Kentucky woman was flown to Evansville after being pinned underneath her car in Hanson, KY.

Kentucky State Police said 88-year-old Dorothy Lucas, of Slaughters, KY, became trapped underneath a car around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of the Hanson Dollar General Store.  KSP said Lucas did not properly place her car into park, and it rolled forward over her as she was walking away.

Authorities said Jeff's Towing and emergency crews were able to remove the car off of Lucas.  They reported she was transported by ambulance to a helicopter, which flew her to St. Mary's Hospital in Evansville.
