OWENSBORO - NEWS 25 has new information on a convenience store robbery in Owensboro.
18-year-old Cody L. Simmons was arrested Wednesday at approximately 2:00 pm after a Crime Stoppers tip helped police. Simmons is charged with robbing the Kentucky Konvenience Store on Southtown Boulevard on the morning of November 10th.
Nearby Burns Elementary and Middle School were placed on lockdown following the robbery as a precaution.
