WARRICK CO., IN - The Warrick County Health Department is opening up Tuesday's H1N1 flu vaccine clinic to those ages 25-64. Previous clinics have only been for those in the Tier 1 target group, which includes pregnant women, children and those with chronic illnesses.
Health officials told us they have about 800 doses of the H1N1 vaccine for Tuesday's clinic, and are encouraging everyone in Tier 2 to get one. Tier 2 includes everyone ages 25-64, regardless of any previous medical conditions.
The WCHD said they are not sure what kind of turn out they will have, but want to assure residents that don't get the shot Tuesday that more H1N1 vaccine is coming in every week.
The clinic on Tuesday will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Old Boonville Courthouse. The vaccine is free, and is only available to Warrick County residents. Those attending the clinic will need to bring proof of residency.
