HOPKINS CO., KY - Kentucky State Police said they seized over $1,000 worth of methamphetamine after arresting a St. Charles man over the weekend.
State troopers said they were investigating an anonymous drug tip in St. Charles, KY, Sunday night, when their investigation led them to a home on Christian Privilege Road.
When they arrived, authorities said 35-year-old David Bean tried to run from them through some nearby woods. Troopers said they caught Bean, and found about 11 grams of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia on him. They said the drugs have an approximate street value of $1,100.
KSP said Bean was taken to the Hopkins County Jail where he is being held without bond. Bean faces preliminary charges of trafficking a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing police.
