HOPKINS CO., KY - Kentucky State Police said a year-long drug investigation has resulted in the arrest of a Madisonville man. KSP said they arrested 68-year-old Ralph Stanley on Thursday for trafficking in a controlled substance.
KSP said authorities executed a search warrant around noon Thursday at Stanley's apartment on Wilshire Drive. They said authorities found a large quantity of hydromorphone pills and hydrocodone pills inside the apartment. They said a large amount of money and a loaded firearm were also found.
KSP said Stanley was arrested without incident and take to the Hopkins County Jail where he is being held without bond.
State Police reported they had been investigating Stanley for about year with the Hopkins County Sheriff's Department, the Madisonville Police Department, the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, and the U.S. Postal Service.
