EVANSVILLE - Indiana State Police said they arrested an Evansville woman on Wednesday for allegedly going to dozens of doctors and pharmacies to get prescription medicine.

ISP said they arrested 41-year-old Andrea Wilson of Evansville for obtaining prescriptions by fraud.

Detectives said Wilson was being treated at Advance Pain Care Clinic in Evansville and had signed an agreement that restricts her to using only one doctor and one pharmacy to get her prescription pain medication.  Instead, they said Wilson used 34 physicians and 15 pharmacies between April 2008 to March 2009 to get prescriptions for controlled substances.

ISP said Wilson got a long list of drugs including Clonazepam, Hydrodocone, Oxycodone, Diazepam, Lorazepam, Zolpidem, Aprazolam and Propoxyphene.  Detectives said Wilson received 264 units of Hydrodocone in March alone.

Police said they arrested Wilson at her home Wednesday morning, and took her to the Vanderburgh County Jail where she was being held on bond.
