DAVIESS CO., KY - Authorities believe a teenage driver was high from inhaling fumes when she crashed a car into a Philpot, KY home on Tuesday.
The Daviess County Sheriff's Office said the accident happened just after 5:00 p.m. at a home in the 5700 block of Timberline Drive.
According to deputies, 17-year-old Peri "J.C." Peach was driving a 1996 white Toyota Camry at a high rate of speed through the Cedar Hills subdivision when she lost control of the car. They said Peach left the roadway and crashed into a house.
The Sheriff's Office said Peach and her 16-year-old passenger were both transported to OMHS with multiple non-life threatening injuries.
Deputies did not say how much damage the home sustained.
The Sheriff's Office reported Peach was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of inhalants.
