An empty, outside storage tank that normally contains a raw material we use to make plastic experienced an explosion. The tank was destroyed and the adjacent piping to the tank caught on fire. Employees immediately secured the area to ensure the safety of our employees, and our emergency response team extinguished the fire within 15- 20 minutes. Our emergency response employees are highly qualified to handle these types of matters. We are proud of their rapid response and their concern for the safety of our employees.

A team is working to determine the root cause of this situation, and we are cooperating with local agencies. We expect normal operations to return in the upcoming days.
