
posted by: S. Chad Shoulders OWENSBORO - An Owensboro man is behind bars in Daviess County, Kentucky on charges he sexually abused a child under the age of 12. James Hines, 62, was arrested Thursday following an ongoing investigation dating back to July. In July Hines was arrested and charged with 22 counts of unlawful transactions with a minor and 11 counts of sexual abuse in Ohio County. Kentucky state police say the cases are related but would not provide any other details. Hines is currently lodged at the Daviess County Jail charged with 1st and 3rd degree sodomy and 1st degree sexual abuse. He is being held on a $75,000 cash bond.
