HENDERSON - Kentucky State Police are investigating both an overnight robbery and early morning burglary at the same convenience store in Sturgis Kentucky. Police say a masked assailant was possibly armed when he entered the Quick Stop store at 9384 Hwy 60 W around 9:30 p.m. Saturday and demanded an employee give him the cash. The employee complied and the suspect fled with the money. Troopers say earlier that morning the same store was also burglarized. Investigators say it is unknown if the two incidents are related. The masked suspect is believed to be a white male between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11 with a thin build. At the time of the robbery police say he was wearing a black ski-mask, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Authorities urge anyone with information concerning either of the two crimes to call Kentucky State Police.
