SPENCER, Ind. (AP) - The prosecutor for the past three decades in central Indiana's Owen County has died.
Sixty-four-old Allan Fountain of Spencer died Saturday. Friends tell The Herald-Times of Bloomington it's believed he suffered a heart attack.
Owen County Judge Frank Nardi says Fountain cared about his job above everything else and that he always had the county's best interests at heart.
Chief Deputy Prosecutor Bob Andree says he will be the acting prosecutor until a caucus of Democratic Party committee members selects his successor.
