GIBSON CO., IN - Nearly a dozen people were arrested Saturday morning during a warrant "round-up" after authorities across Gibson County served warrants throughout the area and throughout the city of Vincennes. Authorities say 11 people were arrested under 13 warrants and two search warrants. Three people were also held Saturday in other detention centers on Gibson County warrants. Charges included failure to appear in court, probation violation, purchase of ephedrine/pseudoephedrine over three grams, batter and dealing methamphetamine. Bonds ranged from $450 to $100,000. The warrant "round-up" was organized by GCSD Captains Jim Stoll, Tim Bottoms and Chief Deputy George Ballard. Twenty officers from the Gibson County Sheriff's Department, Princeton Police Department, Oakland City Police Department, Vincennes Police Department, Haubstadt, Fort Branch, Owensville and Patoka Town Marshals started serving warrants all over Gibson County and the city of Vincennes assisted in the round-up.
