NEWS 25 - WEHT: Evansville, Henderson, Owensboro-Dubois County Jogger Hit By Truck

DUBOIS CO., IN - A young Dubois County woman is in serious condition Friday morning after she was hit by a truck while jogging.
The Dubois County Sheriff's Department said 19-year-old Karla Knust was jogging south on Santine Road near Celestine, IN just after 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Deputies said she was struck when she tried crossing the road in front of a black pick-up truck driven by a 17-year-old boy. They said the teen driver could not stop and hit the woman.
The Sheriff's Office said Knust was unconscious when emergency workers arrived at the scene, and she was flown to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Authorities reported she was in serious condition early Friday morning.
Deputies told us no alcohol was involved in the accident, and the driver will not face charges.
