Old Greenville Cemetery Vandalized

MUHLENBERG CO., KY - Muhlenberg County authorities want help finding some cemetery vandals.

Greenville Police said a suspect or suspects damaged 25 head stones in the Old Greenville Cemetery on Thursday.

Assistant Chief of Police Darren Harvey said a lot of Greenville's history is buried there.  Harvey told us the city's founders, William Russell and William Campbell, are both buried in the cemetery located on Court Row.

The City of Greenville is now offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons involved.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Greenville Police Department at (270) 338-3133.
