OHIO CO., KY - Officials claim a thief caused a gas leak in Ohio County.

The Ohio County Sheriff's Department said 42-year-old Gary Baize was trying to take an air conditioning unit from the Longview General Baptist Church near Beaver Dam, KY.

They said Baize attached the unit to his truck with a chain was trying to pull it out, when he broke a propane gas line. The leak caused hundreds of gallons of propane to fill the church.

Officials said all the gas was safely cleared from the building, and Baize was arrested.
