
MT. CARMEL, IL - An Oregon man is behind bars in Wabash County, IL charged with kidnapping and sexual abusing a teenage boy.
The Mt. Carmel Police Department said 52-year-old Paul Bradley of Clackamus, Oregon was arrested overnight Wednesday during a routine traffic stop. Police said officers noticed a non-related 15-year-old male from Wabash County in Bradley's rental car.
After an investigation by the Mt. Carmel Police Department, the Wabash County Attorney is charging Bradley with several felonies including kidnapping, sexual assault, child pornography, and traveling to meet a minor.
Police said they could not give any more details about the case, because they are still investigating. They would like any one who may have had contact with Bradley to call them at (618) 262-4114.
Authorities said Bradley is scheduled to be in court for a preliminary hearing on June 22, and his bond is set at $1,000,000.
