
MUHLENBERG CO., KY - Kentucky State Police said an infant was one of three people taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle wreck in Muhlenberg County.
KSP said the accident happened Sunday night on KY 81 just south of Bremen, KY.
Police said 23-year-old Malorie Edds was headed south when for some unknown reason, cross the centerline and crashed head-on with a car driven by 26-year-old Francisco Reyes.
They reported Edds was flown from the crash by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, while her 19-month-old daughter was taken by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. KSP said Edds was not wearing a seat belt, but her baby was restrained in a child safety seat.
Authorities said Reyes was also taken to the Regional Medical Center in Madisonville.
Their conditions were not available as of late Monday morning.
